Submissions deadline: Thursday, December 20, 2012
HOW can one submit an essay?
Please electronically submit your essay as Microsoft Word (97-2003) attachment by sending an email to Sinan Akıllı: sakilli@hacettepe.edu.tr. Please make sure your e-mail text contains: name-last name, graduate institution, current study level, and contact information. As essays will be evaluated by blind referees, authors’ names should not appear in manuscripts (i.e. Word documents).
WHAT rules should one follow in writing the essay?
Essays must be original research papers and should not exceed 2500 words (including the Works Cited).
Authors should follow the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers (7th edition) for formatting and
citations. Essays must be written in English.
* Five essays will be shortlisted for 15-minute presentation before a jury-audience on January 2, 2013.
